OUR PROGRAM Brighton Lord of Life Preschool has a play-based curriculum to ensure your child develops a love of learning. Research has shown that children learn more in comfortable environments that utilize their most natural tendency - to play! Workbooks have been incorporated into the daily schedule as a fun time to work on skills built upon in Kindergarten. Both the three and four year old classes are geared towards meeting each child at their level of development, and strengthening their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth. The staff at Brighton Lord of Life Preschool takes part in ongoing education in the field of child development to maintain a level of excellence in our approach to early childhood education. We build a safe, nurturing, learning environment for our students and continuously work with each child's family to meet their individual needs. |

OUR DIRECTOR Deanna Keranen, teaches both the 3 year old and Kindergarten Readiness Classes. Mrs. Keranen has taught preschool for eight and a half years. She has a degree in Early Childhood from Northern Michigan University,as well as earning a Child Development credential while employed with Head Start in Houghton, Michigan. |
