WELCOME! Lord of Life is a vibrant, growing congregation located on the east side of Brighton. We are a Christ-centered church that is committed to family ministry. Sunday Worship celebrated with Holy Communion every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Sunday School 10:45 - 11:30 a.m. for ages 3 - grade 8 Confirmation Class 11:30 - 12:30 a.m. About our Worship... We offer a Bible-based weekly message that is practical, relevant and inspirational. Our worship music is a unique blend of traditional and contemporary songs featuring "Soul Purpose." It is our hope that through participating in our worship and activities here at Lord of Life, you too, will experience a better understanding of your relationship with God, and be inspired to grow in your Christian faith. About our Pastor... Our pastor is Rev. Dale E. Hedblad, M.Div., Board Certified Chaplain. Pastor Hedblad is a second career pastor, retiring from a business career to attend Trinity Lutheran Seminary in September of 1995. Pastor Hedblad graduated from Trinity in 1999 and began his pastorate here at Lord of Life on July 1, 1999. Pastor Hedblad is a Board Certified Chaplain specializing in grief and crisis ministry. He is one of only two specialized ministers in the state of Michigan. Pastor Hedblad is currently serving as President of the Brighton Ministerial Association – a group of 30 plus churches of all faiths and denominations located through the community of Brighton. Pastor Hedblad is a member of the Brighton Area Schools Health and Education Advisory Committee, and an on-call chaplain at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. |
